For TUI InfoTec GmbH we are seeking with immediate effect a: System administrator for Hotel IT (m/f/d)

Our team is responsible for ensuring that our Group-owned hotels are equipped with functioning technology, that the staff on site are trained to the best technical standards and that the central components are in good hands.

In concrete terms, this is what you will be doing:
  • Technical contact for hotel, construction and project management, especially for new hotels and hotel conversions.
  • Introduce and implement hardware and software standards as well as document the network/hardware and software structures in the hotels
  • Contact person for problems in the hotel LAN as well as for the allocation of user authorizations
  • IT support for colleagues in the hotels as well as support during training courses and seminars
  • IT administrator responsible for server infrastructure (mainly Windows 2012 R2 Std)
  • IT support for fault reports from the hotels
  • Administrate, configure and maintain Windows 2012 Server, SQL Servers as well as Terminal Server infrastructures (Terminal Broker as load balancer and Terminal Server in Round Robin)
  • Academic degree or apprenticeship in the field of IT or extensive experience and knowledge in the IT environment, in particular in Windows 2012 R2 Std Server, as well as Terminal Server infrastructures
  • Professional experience in system administration / network administration, preferably in the hotel industry or within a corporate group
  • Experience with RDP, VPN, LAN, WAN
  • Knowledge of hotel-specific applications such as TV & telephone systems, door locking systems, WiFi management and cash register systems would be an advantage.
  • Cloud Computing: Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) should already be known as the future direction.
  • Very good German and English skills (spoken and written)
  • High willingness to travel (worldwide)
