We are seeking with immediate effect for TUI InfoTec GmbH in Hanover: Business Analyst (m/f/d) Aviation IT

As a Business Analyst (m/f/d) in Aviation IT you are responsible for supporting and advising business partners in requirements analysis, process optimisation and the implementation of suitable IT solutions. Specifically, your tasks include:

  • Assume responsibility for the coordination and development of business processes and technical requirements in close cooperation with business partners and relevant stakeholders
  • Process analysis and active preparation of proposals regarding the business processes to be implemented, including mapping in IT systems
  • Support business partners in product backlog requirements
  • Ensure flow of information to the responsible IT developer & product owner (interface function)
  • Assume responsibility for application design / application architecture in cooperation with our service providers
  • Coordinate the processes to be mapped and the technical requirements with external providers
  • Draft requirements for test cases / scenarios
  • Set up specifications, execute IT tests and support the rollout of applications
  • Plan and control the new and further development of IT applications for airline operations, taking into account our processes in the area of change requests / releases
  • Handle documentation, knowledge transfer and monitoring for system processes, interfaces and related processes
  • Analyse and handle support requests for 2nd level applications in close cooperation with our IT service providers
  • Organise and manage different IT projects
  • University degree in technical sciences or in business administration, or a comparable qualification
  • Experience in the design of IT systems and requirements management, ideally in the aviation or tourism sector
  • Experience in project and / or process management
  • Excellent command of and experience with moderation and presentation skills
  • Fluent English and good German (written and spoken)
  • Knowledge of Jira, Oracle (database & weblogic) an/ or Cloud Services is desirable
  • Confident and persuasive manner when working with our internal and external partners, as well as ability to handle resistance proactively
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • A high level of quality awareness as well as advanced analytical skills
  • Pronounced organisation and problem solving skills
  • Responsible, self-reliant and independent work mode combined with willingness to assume responsibility
