We welcome our new scholarship holders from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Hanover
We, TUI InfoTec, are now supporting the “WIR scholarship” for the second year in a row and are thus supporting two students from Faculty 4 Business & Computer Science at Hanover University of Applied Sciences and Arts. Although we are not yet among the "long-distance runners", as Prof. Dr. von Helden (President of Hanover University of Applied Sciences and Arts) yesterday presented those companies that have been supporting students at the university since the start of the initiative in the winter semester 2011/2012, we are on the right track.
In addition to relieving the financial burden on the scholarship holders, the main focus of the programme is on building up a network. We would like to give our scholarship holders an insight into the work of our company and make it easier for them to start their careers by gaining their first practical experience.
Yesterday evening, scholarship holders and sponsors got to know each other and engaged in dialogue at Hannover University of Applied Sciences and Arts. The students represented their faculty in small groups and introduced themselves in a relaxed atmosphere. In addition to their way to university and the course of studies, the focus was also on voluntary work and on the message that you can do anything as long as you believe in yourself. The promotion by the WIR scholarship confirms thereby many scholarship holders in their achievements and their career and gives confidence for the future.
We would like to thank you in this sense for the organization of this great evening and hope also in the coming years for a successful co-operation.
We are very happy about our two scholarship holders this year and wish you a successful academic year and many exciting insights into our company.
