TUI Enabling Data Platforms provides IT and Business teams across TUI Enterprise, products and services to efficiently store, manage and through modern analytics and processing, leverage data consistently enabling rapid time to insight. Examples of services in the suit are, Enterprise Data Lake, Global Data Assets discovery, Self-serve Data Analytics and Science environments, AI driven Data Quality and Assurance Services etc.
As a Technical Product Owner within our Enabling Data Platforms function you will perform a crucial role in shaping, evolving and management of a suite of Enabling Technology Products and Services. You will take ownership of shaping and managing the Product backlog for one or more products in the suite.

What you will be doing
Our Technical Product Owner will facilitate a successful and accurate delivery by:
- Defining sprint goals
- Delivering high quality user stories into an agile backlog
- Building and managing the delivery backlog using Jira
- Actively contributing to scrum ceremonies
- Recognising and reporting delivery concerns to business stakeholders
- Defining and collecting product metrics
- Participating in and driving relevant product forums for backlog grooming and feature prioritisation
- Attention to detail and a systematic product management approach
- Delivering presentations and written reports to stakeholders
What we are looking for
We’re looking for a hands-on Technical Product Owner to shepherd new Enabling Technology Analytics capabilities into to our business through an Agile approach.
As a motivated self-starter, with a passion for improving self-service, automation and Analytics and Data Scientist User Experience, they’ll need to be able to communicate complex ideas to others from both a technical and non-technical backgrounds.
They will have a good understanding of the business drivers for their area and work with the business to ensure that success is achieved through delivery.
Our PO will know about the contemporary data lake and data science landscape, the current tools, the pertinent approaches and the likely challenges.
We make extensive use of Cloud Computing at TUI, so experience and knowledge of AWS would benefit the candidate.
