For TUI InfoTec GmbH in Hanover we are seeking with immediate effect a: IT Manager (m/f/d) Hotels & Resorts

  • Responsible for the performance and professional operation of all IT networks and IT systems in the hotel as well as the data security systems (anti-virus solutions, device management, etc.)
  • Takeover and responsible for pre-opening hotel support as well as hotel internal IT support services
  • Optimise and further develop work processes and standards on an ongoing basis and actively participate in manuals and guidelines
  • Compliance with TUI Group IT guidelines for hardware and software installations
  • Responsible for the IT inventory and the corresponding documentation
  • Instruct new IT staff/administrators
  • Ensure highest economic efficiency and agreed quality standards
  • Participate in internal and external expert committees for the purpose of further development of the products
  • Elaborate / revise the associated business cases with product-related result and cost control as well as the associated KPIs
  • Ensure the implementation of defined software standards and their monitoring
  • Assume an interface function between hotel operations, hotel headquarters and other partners
  • University degree in IT technology (e.g. computer science, business informatics) or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in the hotel environment or as an IT employee of a hotel chain
  • Knowledge of hotel specific software applications, especially PMS software
  • Experience with hotel structures / hotel architectures as well as in setting up new hotels (new construction or acquisition as well as pre-opening and opening)
  • Experience in complaint management
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
  • Strong analytical thinking skills
  • Structured and organized way of working, experience with agile working methods (Kanban, Scrum)
  • Strong communication skills, negotiation skills and assertiveness
  • High solution and result orientation
  • Strong understanding of business management interrelationships and budget-safe work combined with the ability to present and analyse economic targets
  • Very high service orientation
